The Gas Marketing Code Consultative Committee (GMCCC) is a statutory committee that reviews and provides advice to the ERA on the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct. The GMCCC:
- advises on matters relating to the Code
- undertakes reviews of the Code
- makes recommendations on additions, variations, or deletions to the Code.

Members
The GMCCC consists of three members from gas licensees, three representatives from consumer organisations, two government agency representatives, a non-voting chairperson, and executive officer.
GMCCC Appointment of replacement members for 2023 to 2025 term
The ERA invited gas licensees and consumer representative organisations to express their interest in joining the GMCCC for a two-year term. Following the application process, the ERA has appointed members for the GMCCC 2023-25 term.
Under the Energy Coordination Act 1994, the GMCCC must review the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct and provide advice to the ERA every two years. The next review of the Code will commence in January 2024 and end on 30 September 2025.
