The Code of Conduct for the Supply of Electricity to Small Use Customers (2022) regulates and controls the conduct of retailers and distributors that supply electricity to residential and small business customers.
The Electricity Code Consultative Committee (ECCC) regularly assesses the suitability of the Code for the purposes of the Electricity Industry Act 2004.
In December 2024, the Committee’s Final Review made 13 recommendations to amend sections of the Code.
We have released our Draft Decision (published below) proposing to amend the Code. Public submissions to the draft decision are open until 4pm (WST) 23 May 2025.
The ECCC will provide advice before we make a final decision on any amendments.
For more information about the ECCC refer to the Electricity Code Consultative Committee webpage.
