The Gas Marketing Code Consultative Committee (GMCCC) is a statutory committee that reviews and provides advice to the ERA on the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct. The GMCCC:
- advises on matters relating to the Code
- undertakes reviews of the Code
- makes recommendations on additions, variations, or deletions to the Code.

Members
The GMCCC consists of three members from gas licensees, three representatives from consumer organisations, two government agency representatives, a non-voting chairperson, and executive officer.
The GMCCC is currently in the process of seeking Expression of Interest for the committee membership.
Call for expressions of interest
The Economic Regulation Authority invites gas licensees and consumer representative organisations to express their interest in joining the Gas Marketing Code Consultative Committee (GMCCC) for a two-year term. The GMCCC is a statutory committee appointed by the Economic Regulation Authority.
Under the Energy Coordination Act 1994, the GMCCC must review the Gas Marketing Code of Conduct 2022 and provide advice to the ERA every two years. The next review of the Code will commence once the GMCCC is established.
The ERA seeks three representatives from gas licensees and three representatives from consumer organisations to join the GMCCC. GMCCC members may be eligible for travel reimbursement and sitting fees.
