From 1 October 2023 the ERA annually prepares a report to the Minister for Energy on each Network Operator's self-reported compliance with the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) Rules and WEM Procedures. The report includes the results of any investigations carried out by the ERA during the reporting period.
The Electricity Networks Corporation trading as Western Power is currently the sole network operator of the Southwest Interconnect System (SWIS) registered under the WEM Rules.
