The Gas Services Information (GSI) Rules require a six-monthly report summarising:
- proceedings that have been brought before the Electricity Review Board
- findings of the Electricity Review Board on matters referred to it
- orders made by the Electricity Review Board
- civil penalties imposed under regulation 16 of the Gas Services Information Regulations 2012, where the Electricity Review Board has not set these aside.
From September 2017, the ERA adopted a revised structure for the report, which combines its reporting obligations under the GSI Rules and Wholesale Electricity Market Rules into one report.
Reports from September 2017 onward also contain updates on compliance activities for the relevant reporting period, in addition to the Electricity Review Board matters referred to above. This includes alleged breaches reported to the ERA, outcomes of breach investigations and results of the ERA’s compliance processes.
The reports are set out below.
