On 4 November 2013, Goldfields Gas Transmission Pty Ltd (GGT) notified the ERA that the Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP) was being expanded through the installation of additional compressors and offtake infrastructure in the Pilbara region and elected not to treat this expansion of the pipeline as part of its covered network.
On 30 May 2014 the ERA approved GGT’s election not to treat the capacity from the expansion of the GGP as part of the covered pipeline.
