The ERA is responsible for the compliance functions in the Electricity System and Market Rules.
As part of these responsibilities, the ERA is required to provide an annual report to the Minister for Energy on its own compliance with the ESM Market Rules.
Each year the ERA engages an independent auditor to assess its compliance.
