Western Power submitted an application for exemption from its Technical Rules to the ERA in July 2023. The ERA published an issues paper and invited comments from interested parties on 15 August 2023. One submission was received.

The ERA is Western Australia's independent economic regulator. We aim to ensure the delivery of water, electricity, gas and rail services in Western Australia is in the long-term interest of consumers.
