Communication Rules

Communication Rules define the processes, procedures and methods used to communicate between the network operator and its users and other parties such as the Australian Energy Market Operator.

Western Power develops its own communication rules in consultation with its users and the rules are no longer subject to approval by the ERA. However, where Western Power proposes to amend the communication rules, network users are able to refer the proposal to the ERA for its assessment.
