Ord Hydro holds an electricity integrated regional licence and is authorised to generate, transmit and sell electricity to large use business customers in the Kimberley region. Ord Hydro’s power station, which has a reported capacity of 30 megawatts, supplies electricity through its transmission system to Horizon Power, who on-sells the electricity to the towns of Kununurra and Wyndham.
