Under section 48 of the National Gas Law, the ERA served a regulatory information notice (RIN) on Goldfields Gas Transmission Pty Ltd (GGT) to provide information relating to its performance during its access arrangement period.
The RIN specified the information required to be provided by GGT on areas including demand, capital and operating expenditure, revenue and expenses and key performance indicators.
GGT is required to provide this information on an annual basis to enable the ERA to monitor GGT's progress against its access arrangement and to inform future access arrangement reviews.
During its recent access arrangement review GGT found a number of errors in it’s prior year RIN submissions for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 reporting periods. As a result, GGT has corrected these errors from prior periods in its 2023 and 2024 submissions.
The ERA has chosen not to publish the 2020, 2021 and 2022 RIN submissions due to these submissions containing incorrect values.
