ATCO Gas Australia Pty Ltd submitted its proposed access arrangement for the fourth access arrangement period on 17 March 2014.
The ERA issued a draft decision to not approve ATCO’s proposal on 14 October 2014. ATCO submitted a revised proposal in response to the draft decision on 27 November 2014 (a corrected version of the revised proposal was provided on 23 December 2014).
On 1 July 2015, the ERA published its final decision to not approve ATCO’s revised access arrangement proposal.
On 10 September 2015, the ERA published an amended final decision and issued its own access arrangement to take effect from 1 October 2015. A minor correction to the access arrangement was published on 29 September 2015.
On 1 October 2015, ATCO applied to the Australian Competition Tribunal for a review of the access arrangement decision. Tribunal hearings were held on 15-18 February and 26-27 April 2016. The Tribunal delivered its decision on 13 July 2016.
On 25 October 2016, the ERA published an amended decision to reflect the orders of the Tribunal.
