Framework and approach AA6 (2027-2032)

Western Power is due to lodge its next access arrangement proposal (AA6) with the ERA in February 2027. Prior to this, we are reviewing the framework and approach for the review. This will determine the services that will be regulated through the access arrangement and the broad nature of regulatory arrangements for the AA6 period.

We published an issues paper on 1 December 2025 seeking stakeholder views. The public consultation period closed on 6 February and submissions received can be found below.

We published the draft framework and approach for consultation on 7 May 2026. The public consultation period closed on 12 June and submissions received can be found below. An indicative timeline for the process can be found below.
