Goldfields Gas Transmission Pty Ltd (GGT) submitted proposed revisions to the access arrangement for the Goldfields Gas Pipeline on 23 March 2009. The ERA published a draft decision on 9 October 2009 that did not approve GGT’s proposal. In response to the draft decision, GGT submitted an amended proposal on 22 April 2010.
The ERA issued a final decision on 13 May 2010, which did not approve GGT’s amended proposal. GGT was given until 4 June 2010 to submit a further amended proposal that addressed the ERA’s final decision requirements.
The ERA released a further final decision on 5 August 2010 to not approve GGT’s access arrangement proposal and issued its own access arrangement to take effect from 20 August 2010.
On 19 August 2010 two applications were made to the Western Australian Electricity Review Board to review the ERA’s access arrangement decision. The Electricity Review Board published orders on 30 March 2012, requiring the ERA to amend its decision and republish the approved access arrangement incorporating the Review Board’s orders.
