With a strong focus on practical solutions, leaders walked away with clear steps to drive meaningful change, including
- Redesign jobs to remove gender barriers. Long, inflexible hours exclude women and harm men too.
- Refuse meetings that lack gender diversity. Representation matters at every decision-making table.
- Have proactive conversations about flexibility. It should be standard, not an exception.
- Review job descriptions when employees move to part-time and adjust responsibilities rather than expecting the same output in fewer hours.
- Role model flexible working and work-life balance as leaders. Change starts at the top.
