2010 Inquiry into the Overall Costs and Benefits of the State Underground Power Program

In 2010, the ERA undertook an inquiry into the overall costs and benefits of the State Underground Power Program.

The ERA received 15 submissions in response to an issues paper and draft report. Submissions received as part of that process that were able to be made public are published below.

In addition to the information raised in submissions, the ERA drew on a technical assessment report by Halcrow Pacific Pty Ltd in association with Albany Interactive Pty Ltd, and a Report into Estimating the Capitalised Value of Underground Power in Perth by Marsden Jacob Associates.

The ERA’s final report was delivered to the Treasurer on 18 March 2011 and tabled in Parliament on 20 October 2011.
