Price Setting

Under the Wholesale Electricity Market Rules, the ERA is required to undertake approvals or make determinations for:

  • the market operator's allowable revenue and forecast capital expenditure
  • annual energy price limits
  • the annual benchmark reserve capacity price
  • the minimum Short Term Energy Market price.
